These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://sheetswell.com (the “Site”), including all content, downloadable spreadsheets, templates, calculators, guides, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by SheetsWell (“we,” “us,” “our”).
By accessing or using the Site, downloading any template, or subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Site immediately.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use this Site and download our resources. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Description of Services
SheetsWell provides educational content, budgeting frameworks, debt elimination strategies, credit repair guidance, and downloadable financial spreadsheets and calculators (collectively, the “Templates”). All content and Templates are provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
SheetsWell is not a financial institution, credit counseling agency, law firm, or registered investment advisory service. Use of our Templates and content does not create a financial advisory, fiduciary, or professional relationship between you and SheetsWell.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
3.1 Ownership
All content on the Site — including but not limited to text, articles, guides, graphics, logos, downloadable Google Sheets, Excel templates, calculators, and design elements — is the exclusive property of SheetsWell or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
3.2 License Grant for Downloadable Templates
When you download a spreadsheet, budgeting template, debt payoff calculator, or any other digital resource (“Template”) from SheetsWell, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use that Template strictly for your personal, individual, non-commercial use.
3.3 Restrictions
You may not, under any circumstances:
- Resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise monetize any Template obtained from SheetsWell
- Redistribute, share, upload, or re-host any Template on another website, cloud drive, template marketplace (e.g., Etsy, Gumroad, Creative Market), or file-sharing platform
- Claim authorship or ownership of any Template, in whole or in part
- Modify a Template and distribute it as your own original work
- Use any Template for commercial coaching, consulting, or resale purposes without obtaining prior written permission from SheetsWell
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, watermark, or attribution embedded within a Template
3.4 Permitted Use
You may:
- Download and use Templates for your own personal budgeting, debt tracking, or financial planning
- Make copies for your own personal backup or use across your own personal devices
- Print physical copies for personal use
3.5 Enforcement
Unauthorized redistribution or resale of SheetsWell Templates constitutes a violation of these Terms and applicable copyright law. We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies, including takedown requests (e.g., DMCA notices) and claims for damages, against individuals or entities found to be in violation of this section.
3.6 Requesting Commercial or Extended Use

4. Accuracy of Templates and Calculators (“Use at Your Own Risk”)
Our spreadsheets, budgeting tools, and calculators are built using standard financial formulas and are intended to assist with general budgeting and debt payoff planning. However:
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any formula, calculation, or output produced by our Templates.
- Templates may contain human error, formula miscalculations, version compatibility issues (e.g., Google Sheets vs. Excel discrepancies), or rounding inconsistencies.
- You are solely responsible for independently verifying all formulas, calculations, and figures before relying on them for any financial decision.
- SheetsWell is not liable for any financial loss, missed payment, incorrect budgeting decision, or credit impact resulting from reliance on a Template, calculator, or any information provided on the Site.

5. No Professional or Financial Advice

6. User Conduct
By using the Site, you agree that you will not:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, our servers, or any connected systems
- Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code to the Site
- Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Site using automated means without prior written consent
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with SheetsWell

7. Newsletter and Account Rules
7.1 Email Subscriptions
If you subscribe to our newsletter or download a gated Template requiring an email address, you agree to provide accurate information and consent to receive periodic emails as described in our Privacy Policy. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link provided in each email.
7.2 Accounts (If Applicable)
If the Site offers user account registration at any point, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or misuses downloadable Templates in violation of Section 3.
8. Affiliate Disclosures and Third-Party Products

We do not control and are not responsible for the products, services, terms, or practices of third-party companies referenced or linked on the Site.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- SheetsWell, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, reliance on any content, or use of any downloadable Template.
- This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of income, loss of data, missed debt payments, credit score impact, or any financial loss whatsoever, even if SheetsWell has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- The Site and all Templates are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SheetsWell and its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, misuse of any Template, or violation of any law or third-party right.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by SheetsWell. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
12. Modifications to the Site and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site, any Template, or any part of our Services at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Site, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or is otherwise harmful to SheetsWell, other users, or third parties.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which SheetsWell operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and SheetsWell regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements.
